Choosing a primary school for your child is a big decision. We understand how important it is to get a feel for the school so that you can make the right decision for your child.
Due to the current restrictions, we have had to alter our usual arrangements for meeting prospective parents in order to minimise the number of visitors on the school site. The following arrangements have been made:
Visits to the school site (pre-booked, adults only) will take place on Thursdays at 3.30pm. This is at the end of the school day so you will have the chance to view the school site and building safely. We have a standard admission number of 17 for each year group.
Essex County Council is the admission authority for St George's. This means that the council sets the oversubscription criteria and makes the decisions as to which pupils are admitted to our school.
In the event of oversubscription any remaining places will be allocated by Essex County Council using the following criteria in the order given:

by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest
